CMS SPARC and CIO-SP3 SB Prime, Unissant seeks VP to lead Federal Health growth

We are seeking a VP of Business Development to join our team. This individual will interface with the Executive Vice President, Federal Growth to develop actionable market assessments, identify credible market opportunities, investigate and develop strategic teaming partners, and deliver winning proposals focused on the Federal Health Market Sector. This position plans and implements sales pipeline with a specific milestone based targets on key Business Development metrics including but not limited to bids, booking and billing related performance. The VP must be external facing and a Unissant brand ambassador to Federal and Industry partners. He or She must be skilled in building and maintaining productive relationships and helping continue to build Unissant’s positive visibility in the Federal Marketplace. In this capacity, the role requires involvement of the VP in new business, re-competes, and market analysis.

As a key management staff, this position will work as an integral team member aligned with others leading our Growth Strategy, Business Infrastructure and Federal Operations & Delivery. The VP, Business Development leads, develops, and grows market share for Unissant’s service offerings. This senior employee provides input to and support for the execution of the Corporate Growth and business development plan. This position will report to the Executive Vice President, Federal Growth.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for development, management, and achievement of the growth strategies and objectives of the company’s strategic business plan to include new business, organic as well as subcontract growth, follow on / re-compete of existing business, operational excellence, and input to strategic investments that support the growth market perception and market value of Unissant
  • Develop, review, and manage and ultimately be accountable for a high-quality pipeline of current/new opportunities in the Federal Health sector that support the Company’s near-term and long-term profitable revenue goals and future strategic growth.
