NCMA Woodlawn October Lunch N Learn

When: October 16, 2018
Where: Baltimore, MD

This month’s event with Melissa Starinsky, the CMS Head of the Contracting Activity will offer an ‘interactive discussion on FY’18 and looking forward as well as an innovative procurement techniques that will: (1) lower barriers to entry, (2) shorten time to award, and (3) increase the likelihood of successful outcomes by focusing on evaluation techniques to select the most qualified vendors.’

 

EHR Today and Tomorrow- Current vs Future State

When: October 18, 2018
Where: Arlington, VA

HIMSS NCA will bring together a group of government experts to share their perspectives today’s EHR and the EHR of tomorrow. Discussion will include the lessons that can be learned from the multi-billion dollar EHR implementations; how health systems and Government agencies can make the best of legacy systems; the risks and possible rewards of a “big bang” approach vs a long, phased rollout; and more.

 

Leading for Impact in Federal IT & Consulting, Women in Leadership Conference with VA, DHA, HHS and CMS

CMS Focused Master Class (BLT)Training Seminar and Workshop

When: November 5 or November 7, 2018
Where: Baltimore, MD

This full day training Master Class BLT seminar and workshop will be led by former CMS leaders who are experts in their respective areas. A retrospective review will share how leadership decisions are made throughout the Agency, insights on the exact processes CMS uses to evaluate proposals will be gained through a unique, hands on exercise. Other CMS-centered acquisition learning activities to help attendees understand and capture business at the Agency. Process Excellence in VA 2018

When: November 28 – 20, 2018
Where: Washington, DC

This timely event will focus on reviewing recent initiatives and successes within the VA and a discussion of what steps can be taken to deliver the highest quality of care to Veterans with speakers that include the Chief Learning Officer, VA and the Chief Veterans Experience Officer, VA.

 

2018 ONC Annual Meeting
When: November 29-30, 2018
Where: Washington, DC

This 2-day meeting will gather approximately 1,200 health IT partners and will include a combination of plenaries and breakout sessions each day.  The plenary sessions will include keynote addresses and panel discussions.  Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible, but no later than Sunday, October 28, 2018.
