“As the Federal Healthcare District Sales Manager, you will manage all sales activities within the Federal Healthcare District for NetApp Products and Professional Services which includes, but not limited to the following accounts or agencies; Defense Healthcare Agency, Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Health and Human Services, CMS, & SSA. This challenging and high-visibility position provides leadership and management oversight to Sales Managers and mentors Sales Representatives. You develop long-term strategies and shorter-term plans to meet aggressive revenue goals. You must be extremely results driven, customer focused, technologically savvy, and skilled at building internal relationships and external partnerships within the Federal Healthcare arena.” 

“Essential Functions: 

  • Provide management oversight to Account Managers within the District to drive all pertinent issues related to sales strategy and goal attainment. 
  • Participate in strategic planning sessions with the sales management team on a quarterly and annual basis. 
  • Communicate Corporate strategy to employees within your District. 
  • Plan and direct activities including planning and implementing forecasts, marketing program development, relationship development, customer satisfaction and collateral material development and distribution. 
  • Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas in line with corporate objectives…” 

“Job Requirements 

  • In addition to a clear understanding of Federal Government Procurement Policies and understanding the appropriate application of Lobbyists, Political Consultants, Marketing and PR Resources and Federal buying cycles. 
  • Ability to lead a dispersed account team with both direct and indirect reports as well as extended team resources including Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Customer Support, and Product Development in a demanding and rewarding sales environment 
  • 3-5 years selling to the VA and other government healthcare agencies is preferred 
  • Experience which demonstrates a significant level of expertise in technical specifications required to sell NetApp products and services is required….”
