Daniel Gall, who previously served as the Deputy to the U.S. Army Assistant Surgeon General for Resources, Infrastructure, and Strategy for the Office of the Surgeon General, Headquarters Department of the Army (OTSG/HQDA), and as Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff G8/9 (DCS G8/9), U.S. Army Medical Command (USAMEDCOM), has taken on a new role serving as the principal Deputy to the Assistant Deputy Under Secretary for Health (ADUSH) for Policy and Planning. In his new role he will be responsible for supporting the forecasting of enrollment and demand for services, resource requirements critical to the Veterans Health Administration and the Department of Veterans Affairs in the budget process; national health care policy development and analysis; and national rural health care budget oversight.
