The mission of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OI&T), Information Technology Operations & Services (ITOPS) Denver Area (DA) Southern Branch (ITOPS-DA-S) is to support the VA, Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), and Cemetery entities within the geographical boundaries of the Southern Branch, Office of Community Care (OCC) operations. The missions vary from providing Customer support, Claims processing, health care, and burial services to Veterans of the United States.
The Information Technology Operations and Security (ITOPS) Southern Branch for the Denver Area supports twenty-four remote sites’ End User Operations (EUO), (including the OCC). These sites include supporting over 2800 staff from the VBA, VHA and the Veterans Cemetery, over a 500 mile radius at these addresses (Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISN) 19: Rocky Mountain Network, 4100 East Mississippi Ave., Glendale; Colorado Springs Veterans Center, 602 South Nevada Avenue, Colorado Springs…
The Contractor shall provide Tier 2 Help Desk / Desktop support for OI&T, ITOPS-DA-S including various types of laptops, workstation computers, computer peripherals, and occasionally network ports and minor troubleshooting. In addition, the racking and stacking of network and server equipment is within scope. The Contractor shall provide operations maintenance, system administration, network administration and logistics support for facility equipment.
