HHS announces several personnel updates, additions and departures – CMS, ACF and OASH

  • “REBEKAH ARMSTRONG has been promoted to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Mandatory Health in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation.
  • GARY BECK has been promoted to serve as Director of External Affairs in the Office of Intergovernmental and External Affairs.
  • BRETT LOGAN has been appointed to serve as Senior Advisor to the Principal Deputy Administrator of CMS (Center for Medicare) . Brett joins HHS from Leavitt Partners where he was a Contract Consultant. Brett has a B.A. from Union University in Political Science.
  • MARTY MCGEEIN has been appointed to serve as Senior Advisor in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health. Marty joins HHS from Holy Cross Hospital, where she provided technical support to the maternal and child team. Marty has a B.S. in Nursing from Marymount University, and an M.B.A from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
  • CAITLIN OAKLEY has been promoted to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary and National Spokesperson in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs.
  • ANNA PILATO has been promoted to serve as Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary for the Administration for Children and Families
  • ALEXANDER PINSON has been promoted to serve as Associate Deputy Assistant Secretary in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Financial Resources.
  • TRACI VITEK has been promoted to serve as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Human Services in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Legislation.
