Save Our Small Businesses
This initiative by CVP is focused on making a change to support small businesses now. Through a combination of corporate and employee donations, and support from the greater Federal health community, the program will begin immediately to provide grants to some local businesses to help them in this tumultuous time. The hope is to help small businesses get the cash needed to help with loan interest payments, or other expenses not being waived or deferred until life returns to normal.The efforts is currently funding Small Businesses in the DC-MD-VA, Lakewood, CO and Kansas City, MO areas that have had their operations disrupted due to COVID-19.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
The CASA program provides screened, well-trained court-appointed volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children who enter the juvenile court system, ensuring that these children do not become “lost in the cracks” of the legal and child welfare systems.

Fisher House Foundation
Fisher House is a national organization that provides a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.

Habitat for Humanity’s Veterans Build
Safe, decent, affordable housing is the centerpiece of Veterans Build. In many communities, we are expanding programs to maintain and preserve homes and make them more energy-efficient and affordable. In partnership with The Home Depot Foundation, Habitat developed the Repair Corps program to offer critical home repairs to military veteran homeowners. The organization also offers employment, education and engagement.
