CORMAC recruits former HHS and CMS Senior Advisor for Integration and Quality, Fred Butler Jr. to drive Clinical Health and Quality

Only months after the news that they had added well-known CMS industry leader David Collignon as its new Chief Operating Officer and Chief Growth Officer, CORMAC, a woman-owned business with key specializations in Data Management, Business Analytics and Health IT solutions, and a long-standing small business service provider to HHS and its constituent agencies, including CMS and FDA, recently added former HHS and CMS Senior Advisor for Integration and Quality, Fred Butler Jr.

He has held critical leadership roles in the Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA) and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Centers – Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI) and Center for Clinical Standards and Quality (CCSQ). As a US Public Health Service Officer, he served as Senior Advisor for Integration and Quality for the Quality Improvement and Innovation Group (QIIG).”

“Butler developed and served as the lead on multiple CMS models, executing the US Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) Secretary’s and CMS’ strategic vision to transform the health care delivery system. Models included the Transforming Clinical Practice Initiative (TCPI) with clinical practice nationally and the Partnership for Patients supporting hospitals reduction of Hospital Acquired Conditions. His quality improvement experience began in Health Resources and Service Administration working with the Community Health Centers, 340B Pharmacy, and the Organ Donation and Transplantation programs.”
