Optum recruits Ken Beecher to serve as VP and Veterans Affairs Client Executive

Ken Beecher, an account executive with 20+ years of experience supporting the Federal Health sector and agencies including U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Health and Human Services (HHS), has taken on a new challenge as Vice President and Veterans Affairs Client Executive at Optum.

Ken’s prior experience includes securing the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) as a strategic account, being awarded a Public Sector Partnership Innovation Award for VA work, as well as architecting and leading VA Enterprise Case Management Solutions (VECMS) Salesforce contract award.

Prior roles include:

  • Director, Account Executive – Acumen Solutions
  • Associate Partner, Account Executive – IBM Global Business Services
  • Senior Practitioner, Service Area Manager – IBM Global Business Services
