“Peraton is seeking a dynamic Capture Manager for its growing Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The successful candidate will be a self-starter with experience winning $100M+ captures/proposals. Must be adept at quickly understanding what is required to win, developing compelling value propositions, and preparing strong business cases to leadership. Must have proven strong team leadership skills and writing abilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Leading capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts or task order business 
  • Developing capture strategy and tactics including technical and business solutions for pursuit of opportunities with a solid ROI 
  • Identifying potential customers based on a strategic portfolio alignment 
  • Developing relationships with teaming partners and industry associations to help drive partnerships 
  • Utilizing domain knowledge to support price-to-win 
  • Developing competitive assessments, teaming strategies, and prices-to-win analysis 
  • Participating in bid and proposal activities to deliver compelling and compliant proposals…” 

“Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant technical and business development experience -OR- Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant technical and business development experience 
  • Experience with federal government business and operations procurement activities including writing proposals for federal customers 
  • Working knowledge of the competitive VA market place including prime bid tendencies 
  • Expertise experience working with the VA T4NG IDIQ contract vehicle 
  • Experience in business marketing/coordination and submission of responsive captures/proposals with an ability to build and lead teams with a vision for success and capable of delegating responsibilities to the appropriate team members 
  • Proven win record on bids over $100M 
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal company organizations including business management, contracts, supply chain, technology, and human resources 
  • Credentials across all phases of the Business Acquisition Process to include: strategy, opportunity shaping, identification, qualification, capture, bid, and “keeping it sold” activities..”
