“The Environment was piloted as an IDIQ in 2018, with award to Palantir Technologies, Inc. after full and open competition. The initial three task orders supported NCATS, the National Cancer Institute (NCI), and PEPFAR (the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, a multi-agency international AIDS relief program). The N3C Data Enclave was stood up as an additional task order at the beginning of the COVID emergency (5/5/2020).”

“The 2018 contract expired on 9/27/2020. A new contract was awarded on a sole-source basis on 9/28/2020 to Palantir Technologies. The contract has an ordering period of one year (through 9/27/2021) and an ordering ceiling of $36 million. Support for the Enclave was provided through two task orders under this IDIQ…”

“Period of Performance: This will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) award with an ordering limit of $59.5 million (maximum). The contract will have a two-year ordering period, 9/28/2021 – 9/27/2023.”
